Londonderry is a town in western Rockingham County, New Hampshire with a population of around 25,000. The town is situated in the area which was used to be known as "Nutfield" because of the high density of nut trees. Londonderry is situated about 12 miles north of Manchester and east of Derry with easy access to Interstate 93, New Hampshire Route 102, New Hampshire Route 128, and New Hampshire Route 28. 
The main characteristic of Londonderry is beautiful apple orchards which are emblematic of the town's farming heritage. Mack's Apples is one of the best known apple orchards in Londonderry where you can pick your own apples. There was even a special scenic route created called the Apple Way, which connects all of the apple orchards in the town. Residents and visitors may also purchase fresh berries or pumpkins at one of the many farm stores within the orchards.
Apart from picturesque surroundings Londonderry offers a variety of activities, indoors and outdoors, for children and adults. There are tennis courts, several playgrounds, athletic fields, 27 public and private golf courses and an extensive conservation area with hiking trails. Londonderry has a great school system, The Morrison House Historical Museum, the Children's Metamorphosis Museum and a brand new 45,000 volume library.
