Chester is located in Rockingham County, New Hampshire and has around 5,000 residents. Chester used to include Candia until the latter was incorporated in the 18th century. The town might have been named after Cheshire, England with Chester being the county seat of Cheshire. Earl of Chester is a title held by the Prince of Wales.
