Candia is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire with a population of over 4,000 residents. Candia was a part of Chester until it was incorporated in 1763. Candia is situated almost fully within the Piscataqua River watershed with North Branch River flowing through the town.

The northwestern part of the town belongs to Bear Brook State Park offering a variety of recreational activities to Candia's visitors and residents, such as camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, boating and hiking. Apart from the great outdoors there are several places of interest in Candia, such as Fitts Museum, the award-winning Candia Vineyards, a petting zoo and a water park.
