New Hampshire School Districts
New Hampshire school districts are administrated by local school boards which have the authority to make all necessary rules and regulations of the government, organization and grading in the school district. Public school systems in the state include elementary, middle, junior and senior high schools and vocational centers. However, there is some variation between school districts.
Elementary and secondary parochial school systems exist in the larger cities. Many private secular schools provide a fine alternative to the public school system. Higher education is provided through the numerous fine colleges and universities throughout the state.
Private colleges include St. Anslem College in Manchester, and Rivier College in Nashua. Two-year, state-funded vocational colleges are conveniently located in major population centers.
